Dear users of ScortU.com,
of course, we are also obliged to formulate a data protection declaration. From our own experience we know, however, that as a normal person we do not want to burden ourselves with such "legal stuff" and simply accept everything more or less unread when registering. We at ScortU.com have made it our maxim to live a serious customer orientation. Of course, this also includes a responsible handling of customer-related data. We don't just want to comply with a law - we want you to know that your data is in good hands! In order to be able to offer a perfect product, we will therefore follow the maxim: "As little data as possible, as much data as necessary". We don't want to earn money with your data. We don't want annoying advertising. We don't want you to watch yourself, we want you to feel comfortable! So, if we store data, it is because the legislator obliges us to do so or because we simply want to analyze for ourselves where we can become even better for you. When choosing our service providers, we are therefore not primarily interested in the price, but in the location of the servers, for example. Germany perfect, EU very good and the rest of the world only if it simply couldn't be any other way.
Your ScortU.com Team!

We distinguish between the interested parties, i.e. the users who actively search for advertising dating partners (hereinafter referred to as Scortesses) and our Scortesses who actively use our services as an advertising platform. As we have to store more data from the Scortesses than from interested parties in order to fulfil our contractual obligations, we have subdivided the processing activities for both groups.
3.1 Scortesses data
In the course of profiling we process
1) Your first and last name, your address data incl. your country as well as your IP address at registration
If you wish to register as a commercial user, we are also obliged to store your tax identification number (VAT). We need this data for invoicing your contract as well as for paying sales tax according to legal regulations. Note: In the case of electronic services (e.g. our services), the country of the consumer is usually the place of performance. As a result, we are obliged to pay sales tax there. The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit c DS-GVO. The data will be stored within the framework of the statutory retention periods.
2) Your date of birth
To use the services, we contractually require a minimum age of 18 years. Minors are expressly forbidden to use the services. The storage takes place until the deletion of the account according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit b DS-GVO.
3) User name, password and e-mail address
We need this data to provide our services. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b DS-GVO. You can freely choose this data and change the password and your e-mail address at any time via the settings. We only store the current status so that you can use our services. The data is absolutely necessary for the operation of the site and thus for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations of our contract. To protect your data, we recommend that you choose a user name that does not correspond to your real name.
4) Pictures, status reports, personal characteristics
You have the option of creating and maintaining your own profile. Here you alone decide which content you want to make public to other users. You can delete or block these contents independently at any time by editing your profile. We only store this data in the current state in order to be able to meet our contractual obligations. Note: Some data will help you to be found better with the Scortesse search. If a prospective customer is looking for certain characteristics (e.g. blonde woman over 40), you can only be found if you provide information on these characteristics and match the search parameters. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b DS-GVO.
You have the possibility to use a calendar. There you can note when you are not available. On the days when you block yourself, the search will not find you. We save your blocked periods only in the current state. Past appointments will be deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b DS-GVO.
6) Location via map
The operator enables interested parties to search for a map to further limit their search. This makes sense, for example, in larger cities such as Berlin. You have the choice to unlock your current location via your profile settings. This means that, for your safety, you cannot be found exactly, but only within an approximate radius of the location where you are currently staying. The idea behind this is that you might want to be found for dates at your current location while on holiday, for example. By default, this function is deactivated and your city will be used. This is done technically via your IP address. Therefore, you must also be logged in to your ScortU.com account. Note: We do not save this data beyond the search query and of course do not create any motion profiles. You can deactivate and activate this function at any time in your profile settings, just as it is useful for you. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b DS-GVO.
7) Chat function
The interested party has the possibility to get in contact with you via a chat. You can also contact interested parties via their initiative ads. Everything you write is encrypted and cannot be viewed by third parties at any time. The older messages will be deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest. So that you can also be informed offline about messages, we absolutely need a current e-mail address from you for the chat function. The legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b DS-GVO.
Each time you access our website, we or our webspace provider automatically collect data and information from your computer system. The following data is collected:
The data is stored anonymously in the log files of our system. These data are not stored together with other personal data of the user. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to your computer. We only store your IP address for the duration of the session. In addition, we constantly optimize our website and try to ensure security permanently. We delete the data as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. At the latest, however, automated after two months.

From the interests we need clearly less data and try to limit ourselves also here to a minimum.

2) Username, password and e-mail address
We need this data to provide our services. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a DS-GVO. You can freely choose this data and change the password and your e-mail address at any time via the settings. We only store the current status so that you can use our services. To protect your data, we recommend that you choose a user name that does not match your real name. This data is essential for the operation of the site. If you no longer wish your data to be stored, you can delete your account at any time.
3) Chat function
You have the possibility to get in touch with Scortesses via a chat. You can also be contacted by Scortesses at your initiative announcement. 4) Initiative advertisements
You have the option of placing an initiative ad. Here you enter your search criteria (e.g. hair colour, age and location, etc.). Scortesses that match your search will display your initiative ad and have the possibility to chat with you (see point 3). You can delete your search query at any time via your settings. As long as the display is active, Scortesses can see your user name. We always save only the current status. The legal basis here is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a DS-GVO.
For Scortesses the use of our services is basically liable to pay costs. For this you can use different payment possibilities over your account. We use the services of Micropayment GmbH, Scharnweberstraße 69, 12587 Berlin, Germany, to process the technical services for payment. Payment with Micropayment is subject to the data protection information and conditions of Micropayment GmbH, which you can view as part of the payment process. Please address your data protection concerns regarding payment with Micropayment to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
This website includes a map for the Scortesses search function. This map uses data from OpenStreetMap ("OSM"). OSM is a project with the purpose to collect freely usable geodata and to keep it available for everyone to use in a database (Open Data). In order to use this function, it is necessary to forward information about the use of this website, including non-personalized tokens, to OpenStreetMap. OSM is operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom. For the map to be displayed, information about the use of the OSM services must be forwarded to OpenStreetMap. These are non-personalized tokens (help data). No personalized data will be passed on from you. How OpenStreetMap stores data can be viewed at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy. OpenStreetMap is mandatory for the operation of the site. The data is stored for scoreboards according to art. 6 para. 1 lit b DS-GVO and for interested parties according to art. 6 para. 1 lit a DS-GVO. If you, as an interested party, no longer wish to use your account in accordance with No. 6 of this data protection declaration, you can close your account at any time.

The legal basis here is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DS-GVO. Google Analytics, is a service of Google LLC ("Google").

Your IP address transmitted by your browser will not be merged with any other data held by Google.
